SHOCKED BY OUTLET

I'm almost 8 weeks pregnant and last night I went to unplug my sons night light and felt a shock.  I immediately pulled my hand away but I felt the shock go from my finger to my elbow.  I'm now extremely worried I'm going to have a miscarriage.  Does anyone know whether or not it could cause a miscarriage??

Thanks so much. That makes me feel much less worried. :)

I was shocked three different times in my first trimester, each time it was the same as you I felt it from.my fingers to my elbow and once even up to my shoulder, (we had horrible electrical wiring in our old house) and I am 30 weeks and 3 days with a healthy baby boy :) I'm sure you'll be fine, as long as its not a full body shock. Shocking your arm it doesn't affect your abdomen. If you have further worries or issues call your Dr.
