Thanks ladies! My husband is in the marines and he's on a meu(ship) for 8 months. He will be back October and our baby will be here in September. I'm trying to stay strong! Lord knows I'm trying just tears keep coming
I've been right there with you, we just weren't pregnant at that time. I know it's easier said than done and I'm sure you don't want to hear it, but for you and your baby's health, try and relax and calm down. You're going to have your days and moments. I found it helped when I wore my husband's clothes. For those days when you really miss him and need to remember what he is doing for his family and country, then listen to Lonestar's "A message from home: a tribute to our troops". Although it brought me to tears every time and still does even though he's here, it helped hearing the different wives' stories and remembering I wasn't alone. You can always message me whenever you want and/or need to talk. Good luck and best wishes!
Awww hun I'm sorry! Deployments are hard enough and being pregnant does not help at all. My husband deployed a week before I got my positive pregnancy test (we were trying to conceive) he missed most of my pregnancy but was back in time for our daughter's birth. Keep busy and try not to think about it. What branch is he in?
My hubby was deployed for most of my first pregnancy. Our son was 8 weeks when they pulled back into port. It was very rough especially since I was high risk and our son spent time in nicu but having my friends and family helped a lot! Lots of people will ask dumb questions like don't you miss him, etc. Don't let them get to you! Keep busy and write emails, letters go shopping for random stuff to put in care packages and time will fly by! Good luck!
