Scared of spotting! Please help

Ok so I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was red but not dark red but not super bright just red blood on the toilet paper. It wasn't like when your on your period and there's a lot of blood on the toilet paper it was pretty much just when I wiped. And I kept wiping to see if there would be more but it seemed like it was all gone. I even tried to (tmi) put the toilet paper just a little bit inside of my vaginal to see if there would be more blood but no there wasn't. Anyways I'm 8 weeks 1 day today and had a paper smear done two days ago but I stopped spotting the same day the paper smear was done. Is it possible to re spot again because of the paper smear or what?  I'm confused and scared. Please help me figure this out. My ultrasound is tomorrow and I haven't had any severe cramping at all just the normal round ligament pain every now and then. Again thanks for any advice it really helps :)

Yeah I love this app too :) hopefully I'll fall asleep soon (its 10:50pm here) because my ultrasound is at 9am and i know once I fall asleep time will fly :)

I know how you feel..I felt like I hit the lottery when I found this app on my phone..the ladies on here are a godsend! Well good luck to you and stop counting the time it will just go slower..lol!

Its nice to know that other people feel and felt the same way I do :)  makes me feel less crazy lol. That's soooooo much easier said than done though lol but it is nice that my ultrasound is within a matter of hours (around 10 but who's counting? Lol).

Lol I'm almost 35 weeks but every little thing freaked me out at first..still does sometimes..just don't stress out in the mean time..you will be fine!

Alright. Phew thanks :)  that makes me feel a little bit better. It's just that up until that pap smear I haven't bled or spotted at all in my pregnancy. So it freaked me out. Luckily I see my doctor in less than 12hours so it won't be too long :)

As far as i know as long as its not a lot of blood and your not in pain.other than the usual. You should be fine just mention it to you're doctor next time you see him/her.
