Serious question no rude comments please

When i go number 2 my stomach cramps and i feel a lot of pressure in my vagina, and some times a sharp pain follows the pressure. Can i hurt my baby by pushing too hard? :( or can i hurt myself?

I get worried about rude comments BC i see other women ask questions and get rude replies and they get shamed for asking "dumb questions" :(

Hi.  Why would anyone give a rude comment to this hon??  I hate that you'd worry about that on the forum.

Anyway, I also do not believe this harms the baby. Bearing down during a bowl movement doesn't hurt the baby nor can you force a baby out by pushing a bowel movement out.  Unless you are in labor and then that is kind of what you do.  But, our bodies are built to accommodate these things.  :>)  

I agree also about a stool softener.  At the very least, eat a good amount of fruit and drink grape juice as these are known to help.  good luck

If I ever have any pressure on my body, my lower left stomach area cramps until the pressure isnt there.  For example.. I cant even blow my nose without it getting a damn cramp.  I've been wondering about this too lol

Ok i was taking stool softener but stopped and that's when the pain started, should i start taking them again?

You're probably constipated if you have to push hard. I heard that it doesn't harm the baby but you could end up with hemorrhoids. That happened to me

Yes I had the same problem and doctor told me that pushing hard will hurt your baby, I know it is discusting but drink 1 tablespoon oil every 8 hours and that helped me alot.
