They can be little stinkers! Glad all is well though! :)
I was told to go to the ER finally yesterday and they did all the tests and though everything was good I too was put on bed rest for a week. What they did find is that the baby is pushing "her" head against my bladder and stretching out instead of laying balled up like most babies. This can cause a cyst on your bladder and cause an infection which can then lead to preterm labor. I am on antibiotics now and told to keep my feet up to let the pressure up off my bladder. Thanks for all the comments!!!
Trying - I had similar pains during week 16 and 17. They would come and go....but now they are gone. baby is doing well at 22 weeks (almost 23 weeks now!). Keep us updated and try not to worry! :)
With my last pregnancy I had these horrible pains at 16w and was put on bedrest for a week. The pain was constant but tests and ultrasounds were done and the only thing they could come up with was ligaments stretching. I am almost 15 weeks now and I am having the same pains again, it's in my lower belly and my pelvis feels like it splitting apart and my hips and lower back hurt as well. I think it's things stretching again for me, and it sounds like it could be for you as well. Just try to take it easy, i'm sure everything will be just fine.
it sounds like braxton hicks or just your ligaments stretching. when i enquired about the same problem the doctor said as long as there is no blood or severe pain it should be ok
I have had a lot of similar sharp pains through out my pregnancy in my lower abdomen I am now almost seven months pregnant and he is healthy I also have a history of Miscarrying.
All You can do it wait until You see Your midwife try not to stress as it is not good for you nor bub
