Sharp pains when coughing/sneezing

Does anyone else feel sharp pains when they sneeze or cough in the lower stomach area? I just sneezed and a sharp pain went thru what I would say is my ovaries area on both sides.  Has anyone else ever felt that??

Im so glad u asked about this! I sneezed the other day and it hurt so bad! Kinda forgot about it till I saw this post, glad its normal.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one. I've been fighting a cold and the coughing and sneezing is making me crazy. I try to grab my stomach when I know it's coming. Seems to ease the pain a little. So happy to hear its normal!

Omg yes! At first I was scared but the doctor said it was normal. I usually bend down and hold my lower stomach and it helps

Try bringing your knees up when you sneeze or cough. It relieves alot of the pain :)

Oh man, I've had a cold and was coughing really hard the other day and peed myself while running to the bathroom :( I'm getting adult diapers lol

I have a cold now and that is happening to me , i also couldnt hold my pee today at the store while sneezing so embarassing :-\

Very normal, it's from all the stretching. Even early on your uterus is growing and stretching the muscles and ligaments that support it.

Round ligament pain?? I've never heard of that. But thanks for the info!

Yup! It's called round ligament pain. Totally normal. I get it when i cough and when i turn over too fast on bed.
