Shooting pains.....

I will be 7 weeks tomorrow and today I have been experiencing these shooting pains in my lower left side (very low) and they shoot down to my vaginal area.  It happened quite a bit this morning and early afternoon. It was a little painful as well. It seems to have subsided now, thankfully. What could that be?? I'm not sure I've ever experienced this with my son. (or maybe I did and don't remember)  It was almost like a yanking or pulling feeling but a sharp pain...it's weird.      Has anyone else had this pain before??

I had the same thing too with this pregnancy, I got them especially when I moved quickly. I know it seems early but my OB told me it was round ligament pains. They should stop in a few weeks and then they will be back again, ahh the joys of pregnancy lmao.

Thanks Joy! I know...my husband keeps telling me to keep a journal with this pregnancy, so I remember these things! lol. I did journal a bit with Jeremiah, but not in the early stages of pregnancy. I will just try to relax about it...I'm focusing too much on everything little twinge and pain. I drive myself nuts sometimes.

When I was pregnant with my first daughter I kept a pregnancy journal. One one entry I wrote something like, "Ask doctor about shooting pain that lasts a few minutes on one side."

I never ended up asking, but at least I remember because I wrote it down. I've also had sharp pains here and there but I'm not worried about it.
