Should I worry about not being able to breastfeed?!

I've been able to squeeze out colostrum since we had our first child, but it seems like my breasts were more tender at this point. It seems like my breasts have even gotten smaller since earlier in the pregnancy this time. It seems like most women are lactating at this point. I had difficulties getting our first to latch on and I really wanted to be able to do it this time around...

I had trouble with my first baby getting him to latch then my second one was a breeze and easy she latched on just fine and did great. So it's possible you may not have issues every baby is different. I'm on my third baby and I hope it goes as smooth as my second. If she's anything like my first it won't be possible. Good luck

It is extremely rare that a woman is not able to produce milk. Size of the breast doesn't matter. Most latching problems can be fixed by a good lactation consultant. All the things joceey said work great! Only after you have given birth though. Fenugreek is not recommended for pregnant women. Mothers milk tea has fenugreek in it. Oatmeal does work wonders though! Be prepared to smell like pancakes if you take the fenugreek lol. It makes you smell like maple syrup for some reason lol. I mean it really makes you smell like it.

Try oatmeal, fenugreek,  or this other mother milk tea to help lactate. (: I'll be doing that to help produce milk.
