I know wic here in GA is changing formulas next month anyway so I'm probably going to go ahead and try and take these cans back to Kroger and exchange them for one of the kinds they will be using starting next month. It just makes me uncomfortable.
alright, that took forever to read through all 38 pages LOL but ours is NOT recalled......few!
That's the reason why im debating switching or not...because id have to find time to go into the WIC office and get it all switched. it does say that it was only in one facility and it was only a remote possibility but it still makes me uncomfortable. The only problem is we've tried a lot of formulas and my son really likes the similac that we use.
Thanks for the info i'll check the site again!
I don't know if they still are but earlier the website was having technical issues and it was saying that ANY lot number you put in was not part of the recall. I followed the link on the main recall page that gives you a pdf of ALL lot numbers that are part of it just to be safe because we use Similac too. The can I've been using isn't listed but I'm still scared to use it. I opened the left over can of Enfamil AR I had from my last kid (exp still good til december) and started using it. I'm debating on whether or not I trust the similac or if I want to go trade it all for the enfamil, atleast until wic switches over to the Good Start formulas next month!!!
okay, FEW i went to the website and typed in my lot number and our formula was NOT part of the recall.....thank god! I dont want my little sugar eating bugs!! yuck! i have half a mind to switch formulas altogehter though.
OMG, that is disgusting...im having a little bitty heart attack over here...we use similiac ..but similiac sensitive for fussiness and gas in the orange container...how do we find out WHICH ones were recalled?
This makes me so glad I don't formula-feed. Remember the other recall or problem with the airplane fuel or something like that? However for those that choose or have to formula-feed I can't imagine how freaked out you are right now! *HUGS* I had to formula-feed my first two so I understand how it is when you worry what is going in their tummies. Thankfully beetles aren't as horrible as engine fuel and shouldn't have caused any problems other than parents wanting to vomit in disgust!
i thought similac sensitive was a part of it?
We use the Similac Sensitive when we need to supplement for ours, but it wasn't part of the recall.
YUCK! Thank God I don't use formula anymore, and if I need it when baby girl is here, the only brand I do use is Good Start.
wooo the last time we went to walmart i switched her to a different brand..good thing!!!!
Ok SCARRRRY. Thank God i BF my firsT!
Db calle dme first thing this morning freaking out, cause he thought we used this kind, I swear daddys never know anything lol.. but thank god we dont! thanks for all the info! i was kinda worried, cause I know some people who use it.
