You can ask you'r dr for help to quit. Keep extending time between smokes and keep trying to drop a smoke or two each day. And remember every time you have a smoke you are affectively starving you'r baby of blood and oxygen as it constricts the umbilical cord ( its like some one is squeezing the cord on them ) making it harder for the oxygen Rich blood to get in. Once most mums know this they find it easier to quit

I was smoking and didnt know i was pregnant .. Im 7 weeks now and the smell of a cigg makes me vomit. I cant smoke or be around them.. Hell.. Talking about them makes me feel sick.. But in a way, try to leave them alone !!! For your baby!!!

I've smoked 9 years as well I found out I was pregnant at 7 week's!  That same day I quit for my baby! Cold turkey!  The first couple days are hard but you have to try and fight the urge!  Don't put your body in to much stress though even cutting down to one or two a day till u quit is good for your baby: ) ! Try changing up your routine when you'd usually smoke one. Pop some hard candy into your mouth or gum after eating.  That helped me a lot.  Staying active is the most important thing.

I smoked for 10 years, weed and cigarettes, and as soon as I found out I was pregnant I quit both cold turkey. Thinking about my baby and knowing I would be doing her harm is what made me quit and what has prevented me from smoking since. The thought of quitting might be difficult but it's not about you anymore it's about your baby, and as a parent you have to do what's best for your child.

I smoked for 5 years when I found out I told myself I had to quit for baby. And thought it doesn't have to be permanent (I know that sounds bad) it's just 9 short months. But it helped and I don't really crave them now.

I think what helped me stop smoking was my baby. I'm 16 weeks now. I just imagined all the damage it could do to my son and that it would be my fault that he doesn't come out healthy so for me it was easy to stop. Not to mention the smell

Try going longer between each cigarette. Extend the time every other day or so. Before long, it'll make you sick when you smoke. That should help you quit. Worked for me! :) best of luck!

I'm 10 weeks and smoke sometimes but it makes me throw up. I've smoked for 9 years as well. It's hard as hell but the baby will make u stop. You'll get sick from the smell. At least I did. If you can't stop speak to ur doctor.
