Smoking

I'm fifteen weeks pregnant now. And for the past two weeks I could no longer resist the temptation of smoking due to stress. I've been smoking about two to three sticks a day and I feel really guilty about it. What should I do?

Regardless if there's successful smoking stories ( baby being born healthy), We know as mothers that we are not doing what's good for our unborn babies. Im not saying we are bad people, you notice I say WE. Im just saying its not good regardless to if we see the effects. So lets stop.

I turn 25 weeks tomorrow and I just quit 4 days ago. I've had a weeks holiday off work and that's the main place I smoke (rarely smoked at home except weekends when bf home from army) so that's going to be a big test for me. Quit when you're ready too though. I know people who've smoked all the way through and they had really healthy babies, nothing wrong with them at all.

I smoked until i was 18 weeks. I'm 22 weeks today. I felt guilty! Plus he wasn't really active. Once i went off the cigarettes i notice his movements increase. Quit at your own pace. You'll feel much better physically.
