Snoring because of pregnancy

Wow i know this is going to sound so weird. But my husband last night woke me up complaining that i was snoring SOO loud that it scared him. LOL! I actually thought he was joking, but he said no that i've been doing it ever since we found out i was pregnant but that he didn't want to wake me. This isn't the first time i've heard of pregnant women snoring.
Does anyone know why this happens? Is it because we need more oxygen or something. I NEVER snore, but with my first pregnancy i got the same comments about snoring. It's kinda funny what my poor husband has to sleep through but las tnight just couldn't take it anymore. lol.

As your stomach gets bigger and heavier, you might find yourself snorning, especially if you sleep on your back.  Try sleeping on your left side, which is better for getting oxygen to your body, and better to reduce snoring.
