So my husband.......
........ finally told me the other day that he wants five children. Since we've had our first baby I've asked him, "How many children should we have?" and he's never wanted to say a number or plan or anything. So it's really exciting to have a number picked out! I know that if we don't have five, or more than five, it'll be fine. I'm so happy with my three darling daughters but I know there will be a day when that baby hunger will hit.
I'm still in the sleepless night phase with having a baby so there is no baby hunger at the moment, ha ha! Zoë will be 4 months old tomorrow! Good golly how time has flown!!! I uploaded some pics the other day and will upload a couple more in a min. She is so beautiful!
Still exclusively breastfeeding, too, which is an amazing accomplishment for me!

dh said he wants to have at least 4 kids...since i have a 75-85% chance of having twins again i told dh if he pushes them out go for it otherwise be happy with furry children. lol.
I have to say I firmly believe your nuts too. But if I had the room and the money I'd probably have a ton of kids too. Or have a few of my own and adopt and foster kids. But ehh, we'll see how life goes. I told my husband when we found out this ones a boy that were gonna keep having kids until we get a girl..or after so many boys were adopting a baby girl. I don't want 8 boys running around, I think I'd go crazy! Lol
Cindie- Z is 4 months old and I have not yet a period at all yet! But I exclusively breastfeed and sometimes that can hold it off for awhile.

I love kids! All I ever wanted to be was a mom. When I was a preschooler I confidently declared, "I'm going to marry [next door neighbor's boy] and we're going to have TEN babies!"
And before I got married we talked about having 7 kids. Now it is down to 5! I'm happy with whatever at this point. I'm very blessed and I know it, especially after 2 miscarriages and it being a long road to getting my Zoë (secondary infertility).
faye- that's interesting! My grandma (on my dad's side) had twins but I think they died. She had like 12 or 14 kids. My dad is her youngest AND... she is STILL ALIVE! My dad is in his 50's. Now that is one strong woman!
Laura- the ALT code for the accent over the 'e' is 0235. Hold down ALT and press 0235 on the number pad (to the right, not the numbers above the letters). Sometimes I do it and other times I'm nursing as I type so I don't have two hands to hold down ALT, LOL!

To those that already gave birth... did you have your post pregnancy first period yet? I', about 9 or 10w out after a csection, got on Nuvaring for a month (my car died on us the day I was going to the Dr. for a new one and a prescription for an IUD) then got off of it, and didn't have AF at all... it's been almost 3 weeks now.
I straight up told my new OB we hadn't waited for sex since it was a csection and I hadn't really dialated (to a 1... that's it) and we waited 5 days but used protection and were careful (re: gentle) everytime. I know the risks of problems with healing and all... chose not to wait, and didn't wait with the first one either. so the OB gave me nuvaring, I was about 2w out from my csection, put the ring in and still had some Lochia for a week that then stopped completely at about the 10 day mark and nothing since, even with the ring out. I'm not BF right now, and only attempted to for a week (couldn't go the month I'd planned, no electric pump and mason's mouth was so small he couldn't latch properly)
so that's not it. And pregnancy tests are negative. AGAIN we were careful each and every time and used some form of protection (condoms or nuvaring once we'd waited 2w... even then we only went without condoms for 1 1/2 weeks then went back on). I took the nuvaring out at 4w (still have protection from it then).

5 kids! lol! you know, you might get a set of twins too. For some reason women that have many kids end up with twins eventually. I thought I was going to have twins since my grandma had them (actually she lost them due to a car accident when they were still in the belly but she was still pregnant with them) so I thought my turn was next.

I can't believe Zoe (ps how the h-e-double hockey sticks do you decipher those ASCII codes for the two dots over Zoe's "e?" I wanted to do it properly, but do NOT know how on the keyboard.. Im aggravated!! ANYWAY, I can NOT believe she is 4 months already! Time sure flies by! And FIVE?? Love you girl, but that's crazy talk to me! ;) Miss talking to you!

well it's good that you now have a number in mind anyway! I can't believe your baby is 4 months old already! I want 5 or 6 kid's too! LOL I must be crazy too, but I love kid's. I am currently pregnant with #4 and was thinking maybe i would just have number 5 right away and be done, but my husband does'nt think he wants them that close! my kid's are currently 6,4, and 2 they will be 7,4, and2 when the new baby gets here! congratulations again and good luck!
I originally wanted 5 kids, and my husband wanted 2...we settled on 3 since he brings home the bacon. But since I've already got my daughter and a boy on the way, if we have to stop at 2 I'll be fine with that LOL.

Five kids? Wow, I told DH two or four, I don't want just three. When I do get pregnant, if number two is a girl we might stop, but the fever may strike again so only time will tell.
Zoe is so cute!!! I can't believe she's 4 months already. Time sure does fly, feels like you were just saying you were leaving the first trimester.

hey joy....im currently almost 9 weeks....i feel like my motto should be here i go again...but im staying optimistic....extremely high risk and many doc appts are helping keep me calm

Then he said (with a serious face) Ok so after this baby we wait 6 months and then we start again for another and after baby 2 we wait 5 years. I looked at him waiting for the laugh but he didn't :O I then said "babe you are scaring me" lol
He has it all figured out lol- Too cute! lol
