This was my first sign too. I also had the flu and in the back of my head I kept thinking "oh god what if this is morning sickness" I was scared because the flu was really bad and I just kept hoping it really was the flu. It was. My whole family had it. But my nipples were erect and very sore at the same time. My grandpa who also had the flu was saying his nipples hurt (lol) so I was also telling myself that was the flu too. But my friends were convinced I was pregnant. I took a test once I felt better and it was positive! I'm now in my second trimester and my nipples don't hurt anymore but they did for a long time!

Try using an ovulation tracker app if you are trying to conceive and put in as many old periods as accurately as you can.
