Spelling of name...help!!!

So df and I decided on William as our lil mans first name. Both of us have a lot of German in us so we though of using the German spelling. In which William is originally a German name actually. The German spelling I like are,
Willem
Wilhelm
My question is if you ladies saw it spelled like that would you see it as "William?"

I see the first spelling as william but not the second...but I'm also not familiar with german spellings. Very cute name tho!

I like them both a lot, but no I don't see it and think the same pronunciation as william
However, it is obvious to me that it IS William in German.
Just gets read in my brain with a more fun accent lol.
