Spotting??

Well, kinda embarassing, but i just went to the washroom n noticed that i have really light spotting. I'm at day 14 in my cycle, so i was just wondering if it could be associated with ovulating. I haven't had sex since june n as far as i no i had my last period, though it was lighter than normal, and i took a test the day after my period was due last time cause i was late, but then i thought i got it. sory if im rambling but i was just wondering if anyone has heard of bleeding wen ovulating... it'd be weird for it to start now though, cause it's never happened before. anyways, lol, any help would be appreciated!

I’m having very similiar symptoms. Did you ever find out the cause of your unexplained spotting/symptoms????

Have you had your hormones checked?  They can check the levels and this often tells exactly why you have these symptoms.

I have heard it's possible to have "periods" during pregnancy, and w/ your other symptoms you never know - best of luck!  Keep us updated! :-)

While i was pregnant with my daughter i was still seing my period.I even went to the doctor n he told me i wasnt pregnant.Even the pregnant test said i wasnt...when i became 8months my stomach just got big out of no where n i was having pain.I rush to hospital thats when they told me iwas 8months pregnant.All that time no prenatal nothing.And my baby was healthy

I have known a couple of women with the exact same experience.  One didn't know she was pregnant because of it because she got cyclic bleeding like a period.  She didn't make it that far though --  she was about 3.5 mo before she figured it out.  You had no other symptoms of pregnancy?  By 8 months of pregnancy, I'm usually a hot mess!  LOL  Anyway, wow--- surprise!  I do think it is rare to go that long though without pregnancy awareness!

lol thats wat i mean i havent missed a period so i shouldnt b but ive got so many of the symptoms! n i havent had sex sice june wen my fiance went back to afghanistan. but ya the doctor's gunna b the only one who can tell me wtf is up lol. thanks again

Are you sure you're not pregnant?  ;-)  I got terrible heartburn in my first trimester and practically never had heartburn before getting pregnant!  Well, just talk to the doctor and I am sure they can clear up your mystery symptoms!

thanks... ya i wasnt worried about the cervical cancer myself... but thats all i can find for the symptoms. o n stress lol. n 1 thing i forgot to mention was the heartburn... really bad heartburn which is weird for me cause before these last 2 months i only had heartburn maybe 5 times in my life. it prob is jus a fluke about the spotting my cycles are average 35 days but have been anywhere from 27 to 47 days, but they were always my regular heavy period. thanks for the advice!! im prob jus overreacting.... bad day n all that lol

Well, I'd recommend asking the doctor, but one time I did have a 15 day cycle.  I wasn't sexually active or anything at the time, but it was just out of the blue - usually my cycles are between 28-35 days and then I had that random really short one.  That is what your 5 spotting days sound like to me.  As for symptoms, I am not sure - would be something to ask the Dr., I'd think.  Don't stress about cervical cancer until you actually have information from the doctor.  I'd think that that would definitely be an extreme reason for a short period or your other symptoms.  Don't worry until you actually have something to worry about. :-)  Best of luck to you!

well, its been about a week since i first posted this, and i gotta ask again if this is normal. i spotted for 5 days starting the 14th day of my cycle... the first day it was bright red bt the next four it was brownish. I had minor cramping throughout n since that n wen the spotting stopped, my breast got tender and have been since. I've been sick feeling since the end of June with dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, stomach cramps, bloating, gas. Its been about as fun as it sounds. Ive googled n googled, n all i can find is pregnant or cervical cancer. I doubt im pregnant since ive AF'd twice since the last time i had sex,  but then i hear about people still bleeding like a normal period while pregnant. I no a girl who thought she was only 4 months along n hadnt gone to the doc yet wen she went in labor n she found out she had gone almost full- term. And as for the cervical cancer i have no idea. I'm gunna call tomorrow to make an appointment with my doc but does anyone have any ideas? this is driving me up the wall.

Yes, you can bleed during ovulation.

It isn't completely abnormal to bleed slightly while ovulating. I would definitely google it but i have read that about women on here that are having the same problem. Good luck to you.
