Still smoking :/

I'm 13 weeks 3 days and I can't seem to quit smoking for more than a day. I tell myself it's not good for the baby or myself,  but I'm still having trouble putting them out for good. Does anyone have any tips to quit?! I find it even harder when I see my significant other lighting up. What's a good way to quit?

I'll definitely try to Google thing, even look up images too. That should do it! Thanks so much!

I always had my phone with me when i smoked. I would be on fb or whatever else to entertain me while i was smoking. I made a deal with myself that every single time i smoked, i had to google the effects on my inborn child. Thats what really helped me.

Thanks ladies. I had a doctors appointment on Thursday and I was going to ask him about some quick quit smoking options but when he first found out I smoked he got a bad attitude towards me for it. It's very hard, I've been smoking since I was 11. My bf wants to quit before me so that I'll quit faster, but old habits die hard. Especially driving truck and operating equipment is where we do 90% of our smoking at work makes it even more tough because that's what we're used to. I just want to stomp them out but then I feel even more sick after a few hours without them

--work was also my favourite place to smoke too lol it was a good excuse to put my feet up for a minute and relax. I work on a farm so I used smoking as an excuse to get off my feet for 10mins. Now, I keep plugging along cuz that keeps my mind off it.

I quit smoking cold turkey cuz I read all the horrible things that could happen to your baby if you continue. I didn't ever want to experience a miscarriage or have the baby born underweight and so on. It was a huge factor that kept me smoke free. I just told myself each time I craved that its so so dangerous to baby. Getting your partner to stop smoking around u is huge too. My husband never smoked around home for my sake - health wise and cravings wise. Some people also just need extra help. Don't be shy to talk to your doctor about quitting options. You could be sparing your child a lot of complications in the future.
Even to this day, 15 weeks in to my pregnancy, I still crave smoking. Certainly not as badly as before.. but it's mostly will power and you just have to dig deep. It's tough but you have to believe you can do it. I wish you the best of luck, don't be shy to reach for help. Take care!

Thank you! Also being an equipment operator is kind of boring and it's so easy to smoke every 45 minutes or so. Hopefully I can just quit and make him go outside so it's a little easier to not want it. He's also tried quitting with me but two people quitting at the same time and being irritable makes us want to smoke again! Lol

This is going to sound weird by when ever you need to smoke eat something instead.. and try asking your partner to not smoke around you. You smoking and even being around soke is not good for your baby.
