I only got 2 on my stomach but I gave birth at 37 weeks.  I'm sure I would've gotten more if baby decided to stay in longer.

The worst (and pretty much only) area I got any were on my breasts. I didn't get any on my stomach, I got a few on my lower back and I have 3-4 on my inner thighs.

it does take time and it will tighten up again and marks will fade but in my experience, it never goes back to the way it was, even with workouts, etc. :( but our babies are worth it.

yea the stretch marks in my pubic area leading to my tummy are my worst, they are massive ripped skin, id say my tummy/pubic area is 98% stretched skin and 2% normal skin, my sister friend had a baby at 16  shes now around 30 and apparently her stretch marks and saggy skin were just as bad as mine, she showed me her tummy now and my god it looks 100times better, hardly saggy and couldn't really see stretch marks, this gives me hope that over time they will get better!! also i find that dry brushing can help a little with tightening your skin back up, but mostly just takes time i think

Sounds like he will be a nice size :)) but ultrasounds arent always right especailly with weight...my son was suppose to be 8lbs+ at birth and was only 6lbs15oz...some girls young dont get any stretch marks but i wasnt lucky...i had my son at 19 and well yea that was a bust...i didnt start getting stretch marks on my belly till about 32 wks but i had them on my side and thighs way before that...i heard that mederma for stretch marks works great...or bio oil but havent tried any yet since we are tryin for #2 didnt see the point in getting rid of them just to have them pop up again...lol

yea bad genetics and big bubys mean a whole lot of stretch marks, ino if id had a baby that was 8 pound or under i probably wouldn't have stretched at all it was just that last month were i got massive and was left to go two weeks overdue that my stomach turned into a violent red itchy mess, strangers thought i was having twins but my midwive said no no its just alot of fluid!!! your babys not huge! really annoys me now lol and to me it also seems the younger you are the MORE you stretch i don't know why but that's just  the way it seems from the people i know. the stretch marks do fade though the thing that annoys me more is the saggy skin

My tummy is a red and white polka dot heaven!    Sad part is that I haven't actually gained any weight it just all seems to have moved to my tummy area.   I have been putting creams on it since about 2 months and they are not helping me out at all.   I think it's genetics more then anything.
