Team Pink !!!!!

So I found out today im having a girl  but it was bitter sweet because I also found out that at 24 weeks I'm a 1 cm dialated the doctor said that normally when this happens you would give birth before 32 weeks , he gave me a medication I have to insert vaginally and if that doesn't work he will have to  stitch up my cervix :-( has this ever happen to anyone else ????

With both my pregnancies ive had an irritable uterus so basicalky i contract throughout and my cervix shortens and dialates. Ive been put on full bedrest with both pregnancies. First one i carried until 37 weeks and this time i am 38+6  and4 cm dialated and cant get him out! I was 1 cm dialated around  28 weeks and didnt dialate any further until my 38 week appt. 2 days of being off bedrest and walking got me 3 cm. Take your bedrest very seriously and anytime u feel something is wrong call ur doc even if it seems silly.

It does give me hope I just want to be able to carry her long enough for her to come out healthy  and survive so if I have to be on bedrest my entire pregnancy that's something I'm willing to do

Congrats on your girl! I don't have personal experience but I did watch the show "a baby story" and one of the moms got stitched and everything was fine. No complications. Her labor actually ended up being super quick about a week after her stitch was taken out. I wouldn't worry mommies stay dialated for several weeks and still have to be induced!
