Threatened misscarriage

So ladies yesterday morning i ended up having to go to the er where i had to wait for five hours  to find out that im at risk for a threatened misscarriage!! I had spotting yesterday morning that subsided after a few hours..it was dark brown and i had cramping with it!! The cramping is still there and the doc checked my levels and said for being 10 weeks my levels are low..they are around what they should be at 7-8 weeks and i KNOW i am further along then that czuse my ultaround at 7 weeks proved i was 7 weeks!! So Does this mean i am going to lose my baby??!!  I have to get my levels checked again tomorrow and i am waiting on the hospital to call me with my ultrasound appt...the thing is im going nuts thinking about this!! I  cant help but wonder if my baby will be ok..at my 7 week ultrasound my baby had a healthy heartbeat..what could have went wrong! I have been stressed and i blame myself if i am misscarrying...please anybody go through this and turn out to have a healthy baby!??

I agree with Joy... don't read too much into the #'s... I don't even understand why they would check your HCG instead of an u/s at this point. And there is such a huge span of #'s in the "normal range" that it doesn't make sense to judge how far along you are just based on that.
Praying that your u/s this morning goes well!

I feel so bad you are going through this!!  Just keep thinking positive.  DO NOT read everything out there on the net, it's just going to get you more worked up.  Just try to relax and think positive!  Wishing you all the best tomorrow.  Take care!

Rosa- your HCG levels start to decline as you near the end of the 1st trimester. So I'm really confused as to why they're even checking your HCG when a sonogram would've been the best option. I see you're getting a sonogram now but I wouldn't read into the HCG readings whatsoever!

Also, brown blood is not indicative of a problem or miscarriage. It is simply old blood. It could've been blood that has been pooling near your cervix for a few weeks now for all we know.

Don't fret! And I will be anxiously awaiting an update from you.

I went through this in February, and whatever you do, do NOT blame yourself. Just try to stay positive. Even though we lost our first baby, less than two months later we found out we were pregnant again. So just keep your head up high in this difficult time, and I'm keeping you in my thoughts!

Please don't blame yourself! It's not your fault. nothing you did or didn't do would cause it. Hang in there!! rest,  drink water, things could be just fine! Praying for you. keep us posted

he did tell me to go home and rest..i have prettty much tried to stay off my feet as much as possible!! Im just so scared..i read on the net that 90% of all misscarriages happen before the 8th week..so this will be my second misscarriage and both happened at ten weeks??!! I just want to know if somewhere there is a chance for my baby to be ok??!! Thanks for your kind words!
