Totally OT - Alone on Turkey Day

Not a question.. I am just upset..

K and I had a huge fight and he took off hours ago.. He turned off his phone. We were supposed to have dinner together (he was cooking.. I dont know how..) I havent heard from him in hours.. I am so upset and hurt and now alone.. 33 weeks pregnant on Thanksgiving.. My family all lives out of state and all my friends are away for the holiday.. I am super depressed and was wondering if anyone else is lurking alone in Medhelp?

Laura, I know we haven't talked before but I figure not many people are on this today. I agree with everything sweetangel7 said. What a horrible thing to do and say to you on thanksgiving. I am so so sorry. Just keep breathing and try to stay strong for yourself and your little one. Feel free to vent or whatever you need. ((HUGS)) I will be around for about another hour if you need to talk.

Well someone who lies about getting along/liking you doesn't sound very honest to me...and you don't need someone like that.  Seriously, breathe!  You want to be calm when he comes around especially if he is criticizing your behavior!

He really isnt rotten or two faced.. Apparently I am very selfish and have a hard time ditting I am wrong, I guess I am very difficult to take..

I know one thing you can be thankful for...that he is willing to be your financial support and your son's financial support.  Not to sound nasty but maybe you should also be thankful that he took this decision out of your hands and has essentially walked away from you and your son.  The last thing children need are someone who is inconsistent/ in and out of their lives...I truly feel that that messes them up more than not having one of their parents...If you know what I mean...Keep basting that turkey...MASH those potatoes with a vengeance and know that you are NOT alone on turkey day...you are a mommy and you are now 2 at all times...not one!  Hang in there!

Well..

He just called and said he is coming by the house (that we JUST moved into together yesterday) to grab some things and he isnt staying here. He isnt moving in and he thinks its best if he isnt involved with me on a day to day. He will help me financially but will likely not be around when the baby is born. He is planning on moving away immediately... I am so upset I can barely breathe.. How can he think this is best for his son?

He says he is done and has always has his doubts about me (and any us) and that he and I dont work and he cant live w me.. He said he can barely stand me 90% of the time and that he has been pretending to try and keep the peace..

I am having a really hard time right now keeping it together and trying tof ind something o be thankful for. I feel like I might have a nervous breakdown..

thanks.. I have a turkey in the oven and I just peeled potatoes.. Its a start I guess.. I have never tried to do anything like a Thanksgiving dinner, but I figured I would give it a whirl.. I just burned my finger pretty badly basting the turkey, though... Par for my day..

Hey Laura!  Don't worry about K...try to get some r&r on your day off!  We aren't doing much...just got home from my mom's and watching some t.v.  You could always try to put dinner on yourself...it is not hard...I just hate to cook but in all honesty, it is not hard and maybe it would give you something to do and keep your mind off of K and the situation...I'll be on off and on today...maybe I'll catch you later!
