Twin pregnancy

5 months ago I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks and now I am 6 weeks 2 days pregnant with twins. Bigg shockerrr! I went in for an u/s because I told my doctor I was having cramps. They said the u/s looked great and both heartbeats were even good.. And that the cramping was probably just my hormones going crazy. If everything goes good these will be my first kids. I guess I'm just wondering what to expect and any advice! Also if cramping is normal ( no bleeding ). I just hope everything works out this time.

I have heard you can miscarry just one twin and still have a healthy pregnancy with the other. I went in at 8 weeks for some spotting but everything still looked fine both babies were moving around and heartbeats were good. They said the spotting could be caused from the placenta being right up on my uterus and just put me on pelvic rest. I don't have any more spotting now and my apt and ultrasound is tomorrow. I'll be 10 weeks and 5 days hoping everything is still going good. I definitely still feel pregnant with morning sickness, nausea, and very tired. Can't wait to hear some good news and see how my babies are doing. Thanks for all the advice.

There is a thing called "vanishing twin" which is where one baby ceases to continue development and it is absorbed by the uterus and the other one would be ok but if you had A miscarriage then both would stop developing. That is how my Dr explained it to me when it happened sorry if its harsh not sure how else to word it.

Thanks. I'm 7 weeks and 1 day now.. Close to the time I had a m/c with my last pregnancy. I'm kinda worried it might happen again, but what are the chances? I really hope it doesn't. And if it did could I m/c both babies? My next apt and ultrasound I will be 10 weeks 5 days, I have already heard both heartbeats and they said everything looked real good so idk what I'd do if I had another m/c and lost both babies. I just really wish I could tell the future!

I had a lot of cramping and occasional spotting with my first and it was a singleton pregnancy. Once again I'm having spotting and cramping, it's just part of pregnancy. Your uterus is growing and the supportive ligaments are stretching so it's expected to feel cramping.

I am a mother or twin girls also my first children. A lot of nausea, soreness and much more excitement is to come. I never had spotting or cramping and went full term which is hardly common with twins. i did limit myself to much needed bed rest through out my 6th month due to i also had a m/c before them and everythinjhhg was fine they are healthy and now 3 yrs old. You will be fine just follow all your doctors oders and dont worry and stress. good luck.. :)

Cramping is very normal, ESPECIALLY with twins, as your body is going to have to expand much more with twins. Even spotting is common with twins, so don't stress, relax, and ENJOY it, pregnancy alone is exciting, but twins!!! That's amazing! Good luck and congratulations hun!!!
