What do you use and what works for you? Anyone have the arm implant?

The Mirena is great!  I had mine in longer then it was supposed to be and was still effective. I took it out in March and by not really trying to convince we ended up pregnant in October. Definitely getting another after this baby

I had the implanon on arm for three years work great for me took me about 4 months to be able to get pregnant again 37 week pregnant know.with baby #2

I had the arm implant & I loved it! Never had any issues with it & worked like a charm!  I had it in the full three years! & will probably be getting it after my son is born!

Hey we used to use the pull out method. Hubby had control so never had any accidents. Dnt know wat were doinb after this baby

I have the Mirena and swear by it. I got it a few months after birth  and had it in for 3 years until I decided to take it out for another baby. My period instantly came back the next month and by the following I was pregnant! I was worried it was gonna take me awhile but it didn't. Also, I didn't have a period for the whole 3 years I had it

I came off it beginning of last year sometime and got pregnant within 3 - 5 months (I don't remember my last shot so that's why I say 3 - 5; months) I was taking fenugreek for other reasons and I think that kick started my system. I had 2 cycles and bam pregnant.

When i was younger i had the depo shot and everything was perfect. I actually lost about 5 pds. But it took at least two years for my period to regulate after my final shot.

I love the depo shot. Was on it 2 1/2 yrs no issues. All women are diff and take to things differently. I will be going back on it this time too.

I was on the pill for 2 years, had a baby and then used the depo shot, i loved not having my periods but i could not shed an ounce, i not only couldn't loose the baby weight but i gained, i went to tbe gym, watched what i ate, i even tried fasting but nothing worked..this time im having my husband castrated (thats what he calls a vasectomy) =)

I would say get the arm implant it's called implanon and it worked really well. I never got complications or anything. I got ye 3 year one nut I kept it in for 5 years lol. It's absolutely great no side effects at all. Well not for me anyway

Oh yea dont get the arm iplant my sister hated it. It effected her sex drive and she just couldnt stand it.

Had it. It was horrible.

Tried Depo shot twice. Was crappy wach time.

Basically, the only things that worked for me was the pill, condoms and pull & pray.
