back pains / cramps can be contractions. time how long they last and then the time between the start of one to the start of the next. when they are 5 min apart call your doctor or go in to the hospital.

if you are getting what feels like period cramps start timing them, and a lot woman get diarrhea before they go into labour since you are about 37 weeks? i wouldn't be surprised if you are, id call the dr and see if you should come in.

Call your dr or hospital. Explain to them what is going on. They will probable have you come in to check everything out.
