UPDATE 14 weeks with vaginal irritation

I know only one person responded to my last post, but I'm hoping I can get more input on this one. I had previously said I am 14 weeks pregnant with vaginal irritation, no weird discharge or smell, and no pain when I pee and no abdominal pain. Well, today I found the culprit. I have a small red pimple like bump on my labia minora. I know for a fact it's not an STD because I've been with my husband for the past 4 years and he's the only one I've been with and I know he has not cheated even if he wanted to because he's always working or with me. I take him to work and pick him up and talk to him throughout the day and here the noisy work background. Anyways, has anyone else ever had this, and what could it be? Could it be a pimple? I need answers...it's sooo annoying! I'm going to the doctor on Friday and I'll mention it then, but I just wanted to know opinions otherwise. Thanks. =D

Thanks for the input. I don't believe it's an STD. I had a pap a couple weeks ago and I haven't heard anything about it being abnormal. They also did an STD test and I haven't heard anything abnormal on that either. I heard you can get pimples down there too. Gross. Again, though, I'm going to the doc. on Friday and hopefully it's nothing. Wish me luck! =)

Oh and even though you've been with your hubby monotonously (is that the right word?) for 4 years, some STDs can be "dormant" and take years to develop symptoms. Another great reason to get tested!

When you're pregnant they do an STD screening anyway because some STDs can cause problems during pregnancy and/or a vaginal birth. Ask your doctor if they did the STD screening and then explain that you have a pimple-like bump down there. That's really the only way to get a diagnosis!

Well it could be a pimple or some other irritation. Do you shave down there? There is also an STD thats called HPV and lots of woman have it and never know it. It can cause blisters and warts like herps but sometimes it take years to ever have symtoms. Some never have a symtom and only dicover they have it after an abnormal pap. I would definitly ask your doctore s/he will be able to give you a better dignosis than me:)
