Hi girls! Its been awhile and I just wanted to give you all an update.
I was supposed to be induced on the 27th and waited (not so patiently) for 4 days until they finally called at 2:30 am on Sunday, May 1st. I had a really horrible wait until someone finally came in and spoke to me. They were very unorganized and under staffed. They are also moving the L&D to a different area of the hospital, so I tried to be understanding. Finally at noon they said my doctor was coming in to break my waters. She showed up at shortly after 1 and evaluated me, then broke my waters at 1:30. I went for a partial walk down the hall and then started contracting like crazy, needed the wheel chair to get back to my room, lol. Long story short, contractions were one upon another and I had zero down time. There wasnt enough time for an epidural and Baby Danny Mathew came into the world at 3:05 pm  May 1st, 8lbs 10 oz and 20".  A whole hour and a half! WOW...
The nurses were great when they were there, lol. I tried the nitrous oxide and it was HORRIBLE! It didnt take away any pain, but made me feel really stoned. I had a few inhales and felt as though my head was huge and just felt dumb and ignorant. Bleh...not for me or baby.
I just wanted to share.
Thank you ladies for everything :D
