UTI meds harmful to baby??*UPDATE*

I wanted to update my original ectopic post, but I couldn't find it so here is my update, I just got back from the doctors and I saw a baby and a heartbeat! I couldn't stop crying! They said I am 6 weeks and 5 days, a lot earlier than I thought. I still have my UTI and they prescribed me Macrobid, has anyone taken this while preggers? I know it has a lot of side effects and risks from what I read and I am not supposed to take it later on in pregnancy, but my doctor said it is fine for me to take now. But I am still worried of course, has anyone had any experience with this drug?

Yes I took Macrobid and Kafflex which is both unharmful during pregnancy. I had the same worries about taking anitbiotics while pregnant, but Macro is safe.
