UTI

My doctor diagnose me with UTI and was advised to take antibiotic (amoxicillin) though she advised that this is the safest for pregnant mum, I'm kinda hesitant to take it. Do u mum's experience anything of this? What can you advised me to to get rid of my UTI? Thanks!

My bad? Yeah that's are for yeast infections so scratch those. But the cranberry pills are for uti, they make your pee a dark orange, but I'd take med from the doctor first before tryin anything else.

Idk why she said monistat....that's for a yeast infection. But I've had a uti for majority of my pregnancy :( every time they prescribe me with something it come back after I finish the doses.  I'm 38 weeks too, my baby is super duper active so the uti isn't messing with him lol. But yes take ur medicine n take all of it so u can feel better!!!

If you don't like cranberry juice they have pills, I've taken them before because I thought I was getting a kidney infection.you can also use Monistat, Gyne-Lotrimin

Drink lots of water or cranberry juice it helps.

I took it and im fine and baby is healthy. I dont think your doctor would prescribe you anything that is harmful to the baby.

^^^^ Definitely agreed. It can cause preterm labor or you could even lose your baby. I hate medicine and amoxicillin is nasty but I know I have to take it.

Take it cause it can cause serious problems

It's safe I suppose. I was diagnosed two weeks ago with one and was prescribed the same thing.
