For your own personal needs, or for another child? In both cases, I would have done it but the cost was extreme.

I would DEFINITELY do it if I could afford it for myself, I would donate it if someone else paid for it.  The cost is just too outrageous!

we did it for my daughter, but i dont think im going to do it for this one. i hemoraged last time (not because of the cord blood banking), but it can make it worse. we also have less money than we did last time right now.

i guess i didnt really answer your question. i didnt realize it cost money to donate cord blood. im not going to do it though because of the hemoraging thing.

You have to pay to bank it for yourself.
It does not cost anything to donate it.
