My son has a tool.bench toy with a chalk board so my husband wrote "I'm gonna be a big brother" on it and we took a pic with our son in front of it and sent it to everybody.
I emailed my 9 week ultrasound to my dad for this one. Much less awkward than the first time! I texted the ultrasound to my mom.
For the record, I think I am taking the colored cake idea for my baby shower!
I got a card from Walgreens that said "life ls full of giant suprises" and it had an elephant on the front. I'm the inside it had a mouse holding a gift box and read "but they come in the tiniest packages" and I put a pic of our 9 week sono in there. My granpa couldn't help but laugh lol.
Read the question wrong -.- i thought it said telling gender.. awkward for me
You can invite them both to dinner, and for desert you have a cake made with either pink or blue dye, and you ice it all up so you cant see what colour, then when you cut into it and pull out the peice the colour reveals the gender :)
It was my husband's mother's birthday and I signed the card from little peanut.. and it said happy biryday grandma.. this is her first. With my mom I wrote her a letter telling her how excited I am that my child will have her as a grandma.. and she got the hint and freaked out.
I've also seen where people make a puzzle telling the surprise. I thought that was super cute.
I had my 3 yr old wear a best big bro shirt to our family dinner.
