Update!

Well it's official! I miscarried and now it's time to move on. I have one more blood draw on thursday to make sure the levels go back down to 0. I would like to try again but I'm very scared. They say that your the most fertile right after a miscarriage. I'm not sure what I should do. I really want a baby but feel like I need my body to heal first. What are all of your thoughts on this? Should I just go for it or wait? Let me know what you guys think. I need a little direction. My DH and I have talked about it and he's up for anything as long as I'm okay with it.

Thank you all for the great encouragement and thoughts! I'm so lucky to have girls like you on here! Even though I don't know any of you it's nice to know that there are other women who are going through the same thing as I am.

I think I'll wait till I'm emotionally ready. This was very hard on me since it was my 2nd miscarriage so I'm going to take your advise and just wait till I'm ready to try again! Thank you so much!

Sorry for your lost, like everyone said it is up to you. If you are not ready for emotionally I would say not to do it until you are. God bless and baby dust to you

I am so sorry, if the doctor says to wait I think you should wait till your body is ready.

sorry to hear about your miscarriage... I don't think is true that you are more fertile after a miscarriage! after my miscarriage in Agu 06 and that was my first pregnancy.. I did not try gain until this year wanted to wait to be physically and mentally ready also had some health issues to sort out...So I just got a pregnant now 6 weeks 3 days and feeling good although I can not stop worrying... this pregnancy was not planned we were planning to try after my Feb period but my little one just couldn't wait :) best of luck and only try when you feel READY..

the ladies are right.  I had my miscarriage in august and I am currently ttc and still very nervous about having another.  You do need to makesure your body is ready...Your doc may suggest waiting a while for physical reasons.  Good luck

So sorry that you are going thru this....I had one in Dec. and just started TTC again this month, but did nothing to prevent it after the M/C and D&C either......Make sure that you're mentally/emotionally ready to try again before starting.....I myself was ready right after...I still think about it every day, but felt like I was ready to move forward again.....Do what you think is best for you....They usually say to wait until after you have one period (after a natural M/C) to TTC again.....Tons of luck to you, and again, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Im so sorry. I think its up to you. After my m/c I wanted to get pregnant again asap, but it didnt happen intill after one cycle. Its a very hard time. And after you do get pregnant again, if its only one month after or 5months after I dont think the "scared-ness' ever goes away...... Im still scared....I hope for the best for you!
