Urgent. How do you no if Formula is causing the baby to have a tummy ache?

Re: Formula, how do you no if the formula is not agreeing with baby.  I nurse her during day and give formula from 8pm-8am but intend on fully givn her formula.  She is on Nestle Goodstart(gentle formula) the green can.

i agree that if you're transitioning, you may want to do it more gently. instead of 1/2 the day bm 1/2 the day formula, try alternating feeds. formula and bm are very different and digested differently and at different rates. maybe this is a bit of shock to her system.
also, it's possible that the formula is bothering her, but i think they suggest giving it at least a week before trying a different one.
signs of a problem- excess fussiness, a lot more spit-up (some is normal); hard stools; diarrea, excess gas; thrashing; hard tummy

Hello,

I had touble with both of my boys they had colic and needed to be on special formula. i sign that your baby might not agree with the formula would be tummy aches watch her and see if she pulls her feed up towards her body, hard stool. does she cry after feeding her formula (about 1hr or later). i would change her over slowly give start by taking away 1 breatfeeding and exchange it with formula for a couple of  days and then the next feeding until she is on fomula all the way so her tummy gets used to it.
