Very Scared
Ok I had a d&c 4 weeks ago . My hubby and I had sex 2 weeks after. Last week I took a pregnancy test and it said not pregnant . I still havent gotton my period since my d&c . I took a 2 test tonight and they say pregnant. Could this be? I am very worried. I dont want to lose another baby. Anyone been threw this?
I got my first HCG level back today it was 325. I will know if there going up in 2 days. Isnt that kinda high for only beng like 3 weeks preggo??
Went to a different Dr today and he couldnt see anything on the ultrasound ( of course) I knew that would happen I am so early all he saw was blood in my utress, I have to go back and see if HCG is going up. I am very worried now plus he couldnt tell me why there is blood in there. I am gonna see my Dr tomorrow
um, the exact same thing happened to me. I had a blighted ovum and subsequent D&C. three weeks later i went to the ER because I thought i had the flu and they told me I was 3 DAYS pregnant. That little bundle of joy is almost 4 years old now. I hope you were planning to be pregnant, because that scenario happens more often than people think!! :) After a D&C or delivery, your body is EXTREMELY fertile ... i wish you the best!!
Congrats to you all that are having a great pregancy! I am hopeing for the best. Should I go see the Dr so soon like Tuesday?? Or is it still too early? I didnt think a test would show so soon. We just had sex 2 weeks ago , I did take a test last week and it said No and now yesterday it said yes !
Well, to add another story to the mix, I conceived again about two weeks after my mc too! Was back to fully charting and so knew that I was o'ing.. was so scared to try again but figured that it couldn't happen again so soon... even all of my posts that month are skeptical at best. But.. I'm now 13 weeks and going strong! Good luck!
i had a mc 16 weeks ago,i got pregnant right after so i havint had a period since my mc.im 12 weeks pregnant now... good luck
Thank u all so much . I am gonna make an appt for Tuesday. I am so scared. Its so soon my husband is so excited and I dont want him to be let down. I just wouldnt think a test would show so early. But thats why I took one last week to make sure my HCG was down so when I did take a test it would be right. Its gonna be so hard to know my due date since I have had no period since my D&C.
your story sounds similar to mine cause i m/c march 7 2009 dh and i bd'ed after the bleeding had stopped didn't think you could get pregnant till you have a normal cycle af was due april 4th took a digital test april 7th said not pregnant so i expected my af to arive anytime april 17 still no af so went out and bought another digital april 18th tested with fmu and it said pregnant i was like omg dh was happy to april 30th dr confirmed i was pregnant but said not to get to attached to it as i have a history of m/c well i am 31 weeks today and everything is going great so you can have a healthy and normal pregnancy after m/c and we changed dr's after i was 10 weeks along cause i didnt want that kind of negitivity in my life or my pregnancy
Yes it's possible, and you could easily go on from here to have a healthy baby. I did conceive within weeks of a m/c, and my healthy son is now 2 1/2 months old.
