Vigorous Sex

I have been having vigorous sex and getting incredible orgasms since the time i was pregnant till now at 16 weeks... will that kind of sex harm my baby?

If you can find an anatomical picture of your womb while pregnant you'll find that there is a long cervix that is shut tight between your baby and the vagina (where the penis goes). Baby is not in one sac but TWO and surrounded by a lot of fluid.

Those prostglandins are absolutely wonderful, especially in the late trimester, for thinning out the cervix. They don't cause contractions. Orgasms cause uterine contractions.

Unless you're at risk for preterm labor sex is fine. Enjoy yourselves!

Ive always heard that as long as your not high risk sex is fine. There are prostglandins in the sperm that can cause the uterus to contract but nothing strong enough to make a woman go into labor unless her body is ready.

you can induldge in sex during pregnancy but not in a vigorous one.
as it may lead to sudden contraction and irritation of muscles of the uterus which accomodates baby.such conditions may lead to early delivery.
so try to do in a safe and mild way
