With my boys I got a big bum! (but not till the last few weeks of pregnancy) I was much neater all over with my girl. The old wives tales are a fun way to pass some time but dont always work...suppose theres a 50/50 chance so they will be right half the time!
Dont believe in old wives tales....i just found out a week ago Im having A girl....i never got morning sickness and Im growing hair super fast all over. Im not gaining much wait all over....just a little in the belly (Im 18 weeks today). I will tell u this....everyone is gonna respond differently to pregnancy....whether Its ur first or fifth time being pregnant....not even identical twin women will have the same symptoms. Try to stay busy.....but it is fun trying the old wives tales out....some were riggt n some were wrong for me. Chinese gender chart was right for me and i also looked at her sonorous pics a lot and asked to get a potty shot pic of the baby early just to try n see myself what it may end up being.
I am having another boy, and this pregnancy is completely different from our first son. With my first son, severe morning sickness to the point of a zofran pump and being hospitalized, early onset of diabetes diagnosed at 15 weeks, severe swelling, and anemia didn't set in till 38 weeks. This pregnancy, sickness wasnt bad and could be controlled with medication, diabetes test passed with flying colors, no swelling hardly; however, i have severe anemia and a heart problem called supraventricular tachycardia. Going by symptoms alone, i would have betted i was having a girl this go around, but we have a little "hot dog!"
My boy vs girl pregnancy has been polar opposite, my son I got sick in my 2nd trimester, I was always crampy, gained a ton of weight, very, very tired, this baby I haven't felt anything but heartburn! I agree with boy24, I don't think it means anything, all pregnancies are different, but mine were very opposite!
Well in my case the 2 boys that i have where great and the labor was easy and my 2 girls were back pain and had back labor :( it was not a nice labor and currently 26 weeks with a girl .....
I heard about the difference n weight gain ..and the difference in dry and oily skin....congrats to u on your baby
I dont think this anything to do with old wives tales...but im now 35 weeks pregnant with a boy n I def have alot more swelling and I am all belly n have really oily skin.. N with my daughter I gain weight everywhere and my nose was huge and had really dry skin...
