Wanting a baby

I went off my birth control mid-cycle in September.  A couple days later I had some spotting and then quite a lot of slimy mucous for a couple more days.  My first period came 6 weeks later.  Since then I have had 2 more cycles, 28 and 27 days apart.  I have not had the mucous since right after going off birth control.  This month I started using ovulation tests.  On day 12 it was positive, so my husband and I had sex that day and 2 days later.  But...I still don't have any mucous that looks or feels like the descriptions I've read about.  Is it possible to ovulate, and maybe get pregnant, without that mucous?

thanks!  this will be my first baby...my first attempts at getting pregnant, so i'm still not completely sure what everything means.  doing research and trying to learn everything i can.  much more confusing and difficult than i thought it would be.  my sister is pregnant with her 5th, and it seems to come so easily, but i also have friends with major trouble.  i'm glad i found this site and can read about everyone's difficulties and successes.

i never had any mucus during ovulation, which was why i, too, got the ovulation predictors.....and they worked the 1st month!  don't worry about no mucus though....everyone is different......good luck!

some women only have the mucous near ther cervix.  Though some produce more, som much in fact that it reaches the vaginal open and eithr shows up when wiping or sometimes on the panties.  So yes you can ovulate w/o actually seeing the mucous.
