Was bleeding this morning. Dr said cervix is closed and baby is alive yet I have really bad cramps.

So the bleeding has stopped and the dr said everything looks fine and go to emerg if the bleeding continues tomorrow. Well its not but I have really bad cramps and they are getting worse. Does this sound like a miscarriage to you? What should I do? What coudl the cramping be if the baby is fine and cervix is shut?

Please help. And pleas pray my little one will make it 28 more weeks.

I had cramps and bleeding during my last pregnancy and gave birth to a healthy nine pounds seven ounces baby boy. Just thought it might help you to know that these things can happen and things can still turn out ok

LOL I think I will! I washed some while my bagel was toasting but thats all. Not too much. I really want an orange julius but that involves going and getting milk and oranges... and washing my blender. :( This is where a husband comes in handy. Damn :(

Rest and drink lots of water.  You are going to be fine honey.  Your body is telling you to slow it down.  It needs a lot of your energy to help the bean grow.  Invest in paper plates.

I have the same experience since my missed period! My dr. told me it was normal althought i have not had any bleeding...
Relax and don't stress to much about it some woman go with several periods thru their pregnancy....

Its not constipation ( I like grapefruits :) TMI? Yeah sorry). It feels like the cramping you get when you have your period and the lining starts to shed and you have that whole uterus pain. Im just taking it easy, Lots of water, and have the next 2 days off. (then work one, 2 off work one, 2 weeks off) There is no more bleeding thought I didnt push the tp in far so I didnt bug anything, but Im pretty sure all is clear.

im sorry hun thats scary. but bleeding is normal during pregnancy. i know its not normal with cramping but sometimes it does happen and everything turns out okay. it looks like your gonna be one of the lucky cases. your cervix is closed,, not even slightly dilated so that means your baby is fine. like brittny27 said you might be constipated or have gas. a lot of cramping can be confused for something bad when its other things. are you sure its not pain from stretching? that can happen a lot around 12 weeks especially depending on how much your growing. your uterus is pushing all your organs out of the way, and if your 12 weeks then your uterus just popped above your pelvic bone so this could be what's going on.

how long has it been since you pooped? I have had a couple instances where I've had severe cramping before running to the bathroom. Then the cramping was lighter but didn't go away completly. It may just be gas pains. I really hope everything is ok.
