What do Braxton Hicks feel like?

I am 32 weeks 1 day today and for a while now I get these crampy feelings that are in my lower abdomen and lower back. I ask everyone and people tell me that this is Braxton Hicks. But, doesn't your belly get hard during a BH contraction? Because my belly doesn't get hard during these (that I notice). What could these cramping feelings be from? Does anyone have the same thing?

it is most likely your belly stretching and making more room for baby .  Braxton hicks will make your belly hard for a few seconds and then release, sometimes they can hurt really bad and other times just uncomfortable.

They are most likely real contractions.  The is completely NORMAL unless you are getting them in a regular pattern.  Your doc will probably start asking this week or next if you have had any.  As I said it is very normal and is just your body getting ready.
