What signs/symptoms did you have up to a month before labor started?

I was having really painful contractions the other night and went to the hospital and they said they were really intense Braxton Hicks and that they don't usually get that intense until about 1 mth before the baby will be coming.
The baby is engaged and head down but my cervix is still closed.
I am 32 weeks and in about a month I would be about 36/37 wks if I do go into labor and she said that it would be ok as I would not be that early.
I have been having other weird things happening:
Losing my mucuos lug for about a week
Lots of Pelvic Pressure more then I have ever had before (also never had it start until about 2 weeks before my son came)
Lots of discharge (white sometimes and others clear and no smell)
Also have leaked discharge continuously, panties are always wet
Hip pain and leg cramps like crazy
Also lots of weird dreams
And this really weird feeling that she will be coming early (I have had this since I found out I was pregnant)
I was just wondering what were some things that other people had happen the month before and leading up to labor and also if there are any ways to tell if you are starting to dilate.
Thanks
