i felt all my girls between 18- 20 weeks. this last one i didn't feel it until after 24wks. i had an anterior placetna like hope2oneday said her friend did. so i wasn't able to feel them until he could kick harder. and they didn't tell me i had the anterior placenta at my 20wk u/s... i had another at 24wks for a different reason and that's when they told me. but you should start feeling it soon.
I'm on baby 1, and if you've seen my prior posts, I felt movements/true kicks at around 22-23w, and DH didn't get to feel until 25-26w.
I'm now almost 31w and feel definite movements (less kicking now, more shoving) everyday some more than others. I was freaking out myself at the beginning because I didn't feel the kicks until well after 16w.
Don't worry about it, you'll feel it soon.
I felt baby #1 the first time around 16 weeks... But it wasn't for several more weeks to a month that they actually felt like kicks. They were more like flutters... I remember them well just because it was Easter Sunday and I was taking a bath after spending an exhausting day with family. I felt like I had a twitch in my skin and the water was rippling a little around my belly. Then I realized it was baby movement. I don't remember when the "Kicking" started... but it wasn't right then...
i felt my baby move at 20wks
I didn't feel any real official kicks until 22 weeks. Probably because this is my first baby and I have an anterior (front implanted) placenta. Now I feel them non-stop. Don't worry - some people don't feel kicks until 24 weeks, even with their second. You'll feel them soon!! :)
hi i didnt feel my second baby move till i was 21 weeks into pregancy, as above it was because the placenta was blocking me from feeling any movement, you will feel the kicks soon enough, i would not worry as all looked well on scan, take care x
Each pregnancy is different. With my third one I hardly ever felt kicks, but she had the hiccups all the time... You'll feel something soon...
My friend didn't feel her second baby move much earlier than the first because of where the placenta had implanted. It was "blocking" the kicks by padding her stomach. She felt a few flutters here and there, but wasn't feeling any real kicks. Within a week or so of the fluttering, she finally started feeling the kicks. Maybe you're the same way and you won't feel much of anything until the baby's movements are strong enough to feel through the padding of the placenta. Especially if everything looked fine at your last dr's visit.
