i have two other children but cant remeber when it was weeks before the birth? months before? days before?
ive been going crazy with cleaning and organizing the past week!!!!! like doing things id never do im always really fussy about cleaning but this is silly!!!!!!!!!
can anyone remember? im 31 weeks this week and have just been told i have SI Joint dysfunction really painful!!!!! the pain often stops me walking and i have to crawl out of bed at night just to get to the toilet my back is in agony all day long! i have a brace but it doesnt do much :( anyway im wondering i went only a week early with the other two boys and wondering if having something like this could make it all come earlier? like the pain almost trigger labour? or just the fact that your body cant go on anymore?

I think I nest the entire time. Constantly making lists, plans and getting things cleaned and ready. If I can't physically do something then I at least write it down until I can, or someone else can.

But I think I'll probably hit that really crazy nesting stage around week 32-34 when you get distraught and cry because "everything is so dirty!" even when it's not. LOL!

I don't think you would really call this "nesting", but with my oldest daughter, I went shopping the day before I delivered her and brought home sheets, towels, blankets and all sorts of household stuff that a person doesn't normally go crazy buying.  In retrospect, I know now that I was actually in early labor during that time, as I was having pains that were fairly consistent at 15 minutes apart, but since I had back labor with my first, I didn't really KNOW that it was labor.  I just remember that my husband and I had been bumming around and going to stores all day and when I got home at dinner time, I decided to get back in the car and go to a store.  Don't know what possessed me to do it after being out all day, but I was restless.  Then to go and buy all of this stuff that I don't buy very often, it was weird.  I came home - threw the bags of stuff in the corner in my bedroom and proceeded to lay in bed and not be able to sleep.  We went to the hospital about 8 hours later and arrived at 5 cm.  I guess I prelabored at the department store....LOL.

I'm 37 weeks and I don't think that I've started nesting yet.  I have fixed the baby's room and cleaned but I haven't gone crazy doing it or nit picking at the little things, so I'd say I'm not quite nesting.  Althought it does remind me that I have to organize the baby's closet  but that's about the last thing I need to do I think.
Most of the stuff since I feel so tired and heavy, I tell my dh to do,  but I haven't felt like I have the energy to clean every nook and cranny.

I started around 30w...not sure if it was instinct or because I had my showers around that time and had a lot to do and put away etc.  I felt like it was early to be nesting but I had energy to do it and as I got further along, I couldn't imagine doing the crazy cleaning and sorting I did at 30w.  Although, the day I went in to be induced, I put up the boarder in the nursery all by myself crawling on my hands and knees like a crazy woman (the boarder was at the mid point of the wall)

Sorry to hear about your joints...not sure if it will affect labor or not...

i'm not sure about the pain triggering labor, sorry I can't help you there =[ But I started nesting like a month before I delivered. I was obsessively cleaning and reorganizing the babies things LoL
