When did you start to feel movement from the outside?

I was wondering when everyone was able to put their hand on their bellies and feel those little kicks  from the outside. I just now started to feel definite movement a few days ago and I will be 18 weeks on Saturday. DF wants so badly to feel something from the outside, but I havn't been able to yet. Thanks.

i'm 18 weeks with twins and my dh has been able to feel em for the past 2 weeks....but my ob said that with two you usually can feel em a bit sooner then one baby.

My little girl too has an obvious sleeping pattern. Ive been feeling her from really early on and she seems to get stronger every day. Now i just need to look at my tum and shes poking out all over the place.

You'l soon notice your own babys little patterns :)

i was just a few times a day at first, but as i get further along (i am 20.5 weeks) i feel her more and more.  i am starting to learn her awake and sleep schedule...i've read that they have sleeping patterns similar to newborns, even in the womb.  she kicks several times a day now, and they are coming at more predictable times.  everyone is different.  but i am sure as you get further along and as she grows, you will notice it more often.  i'm glad you are feeling little baby's wiggles!  it's the most amazing feeling ever!!!!!

Wow... I think I felt movement from the outside today. The baby was giving me a few kicks down low and I put my hand there with a bit of pressure and I think I felt it. Now that we are on the movement subject, I think I maybe felt movement like 3 times today. It has been everyday, but not constant. But, I am only going to be 18 weeks on Saturday, so that is normal right? Thanks for all of your help.

I have been feeling constant movement since I was 18 weeks but my husband was not able to feel it from the outside until I was 24 to 25 weeks.

i've been feeling it since about 17 weeks.  i can feel it from the inside which makes it easier for me to be able to feel it from the outside as well.  my husband took longer to be able to feel it but finally started about a week ago at 19 weeks.  again, i think we (women) have the advantage because we can also feel it from inside.  so far it's my favorite part of pregnancy :-)

Around 23 weeks on the outside.  Maybe a little sooner than that.  It took awhile though.  Then it looked like a twitch and it wasn't everyday.

I have been feeling movement since about 17 weeks..I am now 22 weeks.. as far as movement on the outside, it hasnt been alot..  feels more like air bubbles from the outside.

My boyfriend felt it if he pushed a little hard (not too hard) but he was scared around 20 weeks. Now i am 25 weeks and I can see my stomach move and feel it alot better.

Still no movement for me, i'm not even feeling kicks. I'm gonna be 19weeks on Saturday.

my DH felt movement around 17-18 weeks

I personally felt movement at 13weeks 6 days and i (and everyone else) started feeling my little girl on the outside at around 17 weeks. I can see her poking about all the time now.

Im 21 weeks 3 days and just back from my appointment - Midwife says that everyone is different and it has alot to do with your shape, size and stomach muscles.

around 22 weeks for me maybe a little sooner but it all depends on your baby...but for me when i touch my stomach my baby will still move and i can feel it from the outside but when other people touch my stomach my baby wont do it for them..gosh my child is soooo stubborn lol all signs are pointing to my baby is not a people person..we tried to find out the sex of my baby and the baby turned around on it stomach and went to sleep lol but you should be feeling your baby from the outside in a couple of weeks
