When does pain...become not normal

I know that "growing pains" are normal Im approximately 12 weeks along in my third pregnancy. The first 2 were c-section and Ive also had a hernia surgery along the same scar.... I now am getting sharp horrible pains near my scar always on one side or the other, never at the same time. This pain is so bad it drops me to the floor to the point I cant breath for a few minutes... is this normal and if so does it go away, does it get worse.... and what can I take to help with the pain....Tylenol just isn't cutting it.

I had the same type of pains with my 2nd pregnancy - my first was a c-section.  I was absolutely terrified, so I called my doctor.  He had me come in right away, checked everything out and everything was fine.  I also had a HUGE ovarian cyst (the size of a grapefruit), so he said that the cyst may have been causing extra discomfort.  The cyst went away on its own as the pregnancy progressed and eventually the pains went away.  I only had them once in a while, usually when I coughed or sneezed.  Dealing with pregnancy after a c-section is much different than having a normal vaginal delivery.

I would definitely call your doctor and get it checked out.  Better to be safe than sorry.  Good luck and let us know how it goes!
