When to have all the baby stuff
Hi just wondering how much baby stuff you have all got? Im worried im leaving it all abit late this time round im 26weeks and got a few baby clothes and my pram
I'm 34+1 & I have everything. I had all the big things like the crib, stroller, car seat, high chair & swing before my baby shower. Then I had my baby shower & I got a rock&play, play pen, tons of clothes, pacifiers, burp cloths, blankets/receiving blankets, bottles, grooming kit, toys, etc .
Im nearly 35 weeks and have everything! Lucky for me I kept alot of stuff from my second daughter just got our bouncy chair today and that was the last thing we needed!
I will be 29 weeks on Monday and I started buying things around 24 weeks. We bought about $50 worth of cloths a week for about 5 weeks. Now we are going to start buying bottles/boppy/pacifiers/blankets/diaper bag and will plan to have all that bought by the time I am 32 weeks, then we will buy diapers and wipes for 2 weeks that will make me 34 weeks. At 34 weeks we will buy carseat stroller combo, 35 weeks we will buy our bassenett and bouncer, 36 weeks we will buy bath items (soap, tub, towels, ducky, wash cloths, lotion). 37 weeks we will get the grooming kit, breast pump, and car seat cover. Then for the next three weeks we are going to just take it easy and buy little things like rattles, teethers, toy keys and things like that. Do you have a job, or a good amount of money saved up? The best way my husband and I have found to do it is limit yourself an amount of money for each week (we did $50) because he gets paid weekly. That way he saves more then we spend and then we need to buy big things he will have more then enough saved for those items. Make a list for each time you go shopping for baby, ours would look like this: (weeks 28- 1pkg Newborn sleepers, 1pkg receiving blankets, 1 3-6 outfit, 2 pair Newborn pants, 1 heavier blanket). Also, it depends on how far up in age you want to buy cloths for, we decided not to go any higher right now then 3-6 months.
I'm 17 weeks and have a couple blankies and burping cloths. I have a stroller, high chair, bassinet, baby sling, and diaper bag. I just have these items early because of sales I've been to and found them in good condition for very cheap and people have given me some.
I never have done up a nursery for my kids, they sleep in our room for about the first year anyways.

I have my shower on the 25th so I am waiting till after that to see what all I still need. Also I know it is our 3rd but we are starting from scratch because we got rid of everything after being told we could have anymore and this time the baby is a girl and we have 2 boys.

For all the ladies freaking out about the room not being decorated its okay. The baby won't care you can finish doing that after they are here. Just make sure they have clothes, a bed, feeding supplies, diapers, and bath stuff (the necessities of life lol). It will all be okay :)
Im a ftm 24wks & 3days nd I only hve 3 outfits & stroller nd carseat, thnkn abt hvin a bbyshowa but Im nt sure on who to invite bc I dnt hve a lot of friends but prolly in Dec uma try nd start buyn mre items.
Oh my! I just realized ive only got 30 days (unless she comes sooner)!!! And the nursery isnt even set up we are probably fixing to move i still have nothing washed but clothes, none of my wall decor is done. My hospital bag isnt packed..toddlers room isnt done

I m waiting till 30+ wks before buying anything.... I m 23 wks+4 i only got very few clothes jst to take in maternity... N fixing my maternity bag as nything is possible...
Every time you think you have everything you'll remember or find out about something else so i say go to walmart or online and you can find a check list of everything (s)he'll need. I'd have everything by 36 weeks. ;)

Im 32w + 1d and ive got the pram, some clothes, some nappies and a few other bits and pieces, ive got the cot but no mattress yet and its still in pieces and ive got a crib at my friends house. The room is no where near ready... not even started to decorate lol i finish work after sunday tho so i can start doing stuff then
I'm 35w and I've already had a baby shower. I have pretty much everything I THINK I'll need. I have a stroller, car seat, crib, bouncer, walker, bassinet, bottles, bottle warmer, bath tub. The list goes on. I still need to get a breast pump as I plan to breastfeed. The crib is a hand me down so I may get a new mattress and mattress pads. We're painting the room today.

im 36 weeks and I waited till after my baby shower to start getting things together.. her room wasnt even painted and her crib wasnt together or anything till about 2 weeks ago.. the only thing left to get is a bed set but im in no rush because shell be using a bassinett at first and I have blankets and crib sheets already
I will be 35 weeks monday, baby measuring ahead. Ive got clothes, i repurposed a dresser for a changing table/dresser combo. I still have everything from my youngest, except a crib. And we will be using a bassinet and then the pack and play instead of buying a crib.
Im 15wks and am trying to avoid any baby shopping til after 20 wks lol. Btw - whats a pram?
Im 18 weeks with my first and know ths sex already. So I have a few clothes. Two toys. And a picture frame to match the theme. Im waiting mainly till after the baby shower.
