I live in Seattle WA...well like 20 min north of Seattle. I've lived in WA state all my life but have also lived in other states! I love the northwest! :)
I live in Minneapolis. I love the arts scene and the culture and diversity. I LOVE summer here, but the winters are as brutal as they say.
I am from Barrie, Ontario, Canada (near toronto) and we have a foot of snow and i have been here for about 3 years moved here when i got engaged to my now hubby.
I guess I'll be the odd man out....living up here in West St. Paul, MN!! (yes, it is literally West of St. Paul). I grew up in South St. Paul ( again, literally south of St. Paul) in a VERY SMALL town!! Everyone knows everyone. My entire family has grown up here....they even owned a small grocery store!! Me and DH have lived here all our lives!! We graduated together and hung out with the same group of friends before dating!! I would love to move anywhere but here, I hate it!! I hate winter and am such a freeze baby!! I would love to move to Florida!! Anywhere but Minnesota!!
My husband and I are both from California. I'm from the bay area and he's from San Diego. We live in Colorado now and I would never think about moving. We love it here. My favorite part is the seasons, we have 4 full seasons.
I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, most of my family is there still. I moved to Philadelphia, PA after we got married and lived there for a year, Philly has THE BEST FOOD! Then we moved to Brooklyn, NY and I absolutely LOVED Brooklyn, we lived in a nice area, very accessible to the city, somewhat clean, close to a huge park, my family could come to visit easily from PR, I miss it sooo much!!!!
Now we live in Charlotte, North Caroline. Its really nice here, the weather is GREAT, its always sunny here and it doesn't get too cold. BUT I miss living in a city, I'm a city rat, and Charlotte isn't a big city yet. i'm sure we'll move one more time at least don't know where.
Im from Odessa TX I really do love this city its not too big not too small and the summers are so nice hot but nice! Winters well not so much the cold wind nips you right in your tush lol! Luckily since we are a hot state we only have to put up with it for the max 3 months. I was born in Sweetwater TX and moved to Ruidoso NM when i was 8 (dont move theres its pretty to visit but to live its yucky) so after graduation and at 19 i decided to come bk to TX in Odessa cus thats my father was at the moment and i never left lol!! I been here for 7 yrs now!
born/raised pike, KY....would love to live in ligoneir-or-greenfield Indiana!! spent a couple of summers up there and i loved it, my DH used to live in greenfield for a couple years and he wants to move back, nothing here at all ....... i think this entire state is the boonies (LOL) apparently our government is trying to make pikeville up and coming, seeing as all our tax dollars go to upgrades to our prisons and concert halls......... its only 39 degrees right now but we have our fair share of hot/cold weather!!! cant remember when we actually had snow on the ground. always falls butter never lays!!!
I'm in Munich, Germany. I am British though, and move back to UK next year. I think I will miss Germany more than I miss UK. Looking forward to being fluent in the language i'm surrounded by again!
I am in Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada. More like Winterpeg!!! Already have snow here and it's cold!! Brrrrrr.
I am in St Charles MO. Close to the big STL! Haha the subarbs are nice but I would not live in St Louis! I am a super big Cardinals fan! As the signs say in my area I live in the home of Baseballs best fans!!!!
i'm from Sydney Australia, i love being here because all of my family is here, but i do want to have a white christmas. i would love to go somewhere in america where it snows over christmas because it can get sooooo hot here over christmas.
I'm in Colorado Springs, CO. I love it here, lived in CO most of my life. Bring on the snow, I love winter!! :)
It is really neat to see what everyone has to say about where they live too, very interesting!
I'm in Virginia wow!! boring ayuss VA all my life don't move here RUN!!
Born in Piscataway, NJ ... moved to Jacksonville, FL when I was 2.5 yrs old and lived there till I was 18 ...went off to college in Boca Raton, FL and moved around to areas in Ft. Lauderdale for a few years ...then back to Jax. I agree with those people that said some areas in FL are nice ...others are not. I adore my hometown (my parents and Gma live there still), but would not move back to South FL for the life of me!!
Since July 07, I've found my home in Papillion, NE (just south of Omaha) with my hubby. =D Florida was too hot for him ...and I definitely *LOVE* the change of weather here in NE!!! So I did not mind the big move at all. It may be in the 30s and starting to sleet ...but I'd much rather have that than a continuous 80-90 degrees throughout the year!!! =D
I am located in Hot (literally) Phoenix, AZ..... Been here my whole life and love it.... I do still complain about the heat but the winters are beautiful!!! I have visited tons of other places my fav being GA..... But I do live AZ but wouldnt mind moving if DH had to go somewhere else (he travels alot)
I live in Mesa AZ! lol Its nice here. Gets super hot in the summer and its about 70 degrees out right now so it doesn't get freezing here in the winter, unless you drive up to the snow! The scenery is beautiful and the sunsets are to die for! Its not overly crowded or expensive but its not the boonies either. I love it here. I have lived here for about 9 years after moving from Milpitas CA (about 10 minutes from San Jose) and I am SO glad we did. All of my family that lives in CA still is slowly moving here! DF is wanting to get away from AZ which makes me sad...but if its something he really wants then I will consider it!
I'm from Boston MA. And for now i love it but looking to move to Ohio in next 2 yrs. To live closer to family.
Coolidge, AZ. I have lived in lots of different cities in Arizona, but a Native Arizonan. I love it here. I can drive north or east to the snow, and high country. The ocean is a 6 hour drive to the west. It gets hot, but well worth it during the winter. You drive to the snow, and don't have to worry about shoveling or salting the driveway.
