Why do I keep doing this to myself??

Okay I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow and am very paranoid about this pregnancy... with that being said I know I shouldn't do this especially after seeing the baby and the heartbeat but tonight I took two hpt, they were both positive, without a doubt, there wasn't a faint line to it its definately there.. its just not near as bold as I would like to be, and its not as dark as the control line but like I said its definately there.. should I be concerned?? I havent' had any horrible cramping or any bleeding or anything.. my morning sickness seems to be going away but when my stomach is empty its here.. I still wake up in the night to pee and am overly tired.. I'm just so paranoid and my appointment is 19 days away..

I am about 7.5 weeks and had taken 4 HPT's, all of them came positive before the 2 mins mark.  I have had one missed miscarriage in 2006 then one smooth and healthy pregnancy.  I've no mc sign, but I am extremely nervous because I had a missed M/C before with only brown spotting for a day, the doc said it was normal until I went for a scan.  This time around, I started morning sickness a little over isa week ago but am feeling better already.  Tha of course is freaking me out.  I am afraid I am having another missed M/C.  I go for my first U/S on Wed, please wish me luck.  BTW, most of my friends are pregger as well.

DON"T FEEL BAD!!! I was testing to make sure that I was pregnant and even when urine/blood test came back positive I would test still. I have 10 hpts that are all positives and the ones I buy are the 99cent ones!! There would be times where I wouldn't feel preggo and I would buy pregnancy tests still and my fiancee would be liek "WTF WHY R U STILL TAKING THEM!!! YOU"RE PREGNANT BABY!!!" and I'll be like " WELL I DONT FEEL PREGNANT ANYMORE AND I WANNA MAKE SURE" lol it was crazy and even with that I still have so many concerns..I'm 4 and a half months and still I'm like "what if..." you know??? But don't worry about how dark the lines are...you're okay. I hope we all made you feel better!!! Enjoy your pregnancy!!!

Honey, I know how you feel.  I'm 13 weeks and 4 days today and I'm still always scared I'll loose my baby.  I saw the baby and heard the heart beat and every thing, but I just can't help it.  Just try to relax and think happy thoughts, I know that's easier said than done, but you're at 10 weeks, you're getting closer and closer to the second trimester and the chances of miscarriage will really drop.

I did the exact same thing as you around 10 weeks!!! I even called my doctor and asked why they weren't as dark as the control line. She said that our hcg levels hit a peak in early pregnancy and then start to drop. Some women's earlier than others. She said not to worry one bit. I have since had 2 appointments after that and everything is perfect. Baby couldn't be healthier. I understand what you are going through completely. Just try to realax and enjoy your pregnancy. Plus you'll be out of the first trimester in no time. It goes by so quickly. I am certain you are alright and so is your baby!

I so share your pain and fear....I have had 2 MC's and the last was just the end of Aug....and I am now pregnant with twins and we saw two babies measuring on schedule and 2 heartbeats but I'm so scared as I've never had a healthy pregnancy before.   I'm only 8 weeks but I'm so scared of vanishing twin syndrom or worse double MC.....I don't know when I'll ever stop being scared......luckily for my my Dr wants to do u/s's every 2 weeks for a while so that will be reassuring.  But I don't think there's any real sure way to not be scared to death.

After having 2 miscarriages...I obsessed over tests with this pregnancy! I am not kidding...I went online and bought 20 tests for 15 dollars. Needless to say I took ALL of them by my 11th week. I seriously thought I was going crazy. At one point the lines stopped getting darker and I had my days where I just didn't "feel" pregnant and I worried constantly. Even after seeing the baby on u/s. When you've been through a loss, it's hard to be excited at first. Once you start feeling your lil baby move around, it really helps you to relax or whenever you hear that little heart beating. Dopplers are a great investment and always help to put your mind at ease! Hang in there, I'm sure you are just fine. Try to stay calm and relax (I know it's hard)

I have never had a miscarriage that I know of, but when I found out I was pregnant, I obsessed over the darkness of the lines too. It doesn't matter if the lines aren't getting darker. At some point, they just can't get any darker because there is only so much ink in those things. Don't stress!

I wish I could relax and enjoy my pregnancy.. I am soo happy to be pregnant and pray that everything is okay.. I guess I'm so worried because of the previous miscarriage 11 months ago on the 15th.. I should not keep doing this to myself with these HPTs..i just can't relax. my fiance would be soo upset if he knew that I was still testing every now and then

hey you shouldnt be worried. dont stress over it you know everything you feel your baby will also feel. If you have already seen the baby and the heartbeat then you know your pregnant. Just relax and enjoy your pregnancy and pray thats always good. Best of luck to you.

I feel the same way, I'm 7 weeks and 1 day today and my appt is not until the 15th. My morning sickness comes and goes - it's ususally the strongest when I'm hungry. I'm soooo worried, but I'm trying to take it easy, cuz that's all we can really do right now. Good luck, I'm sure everything will be alright.
