Will wearing a tampon off and on for week before positive pregnancy test cause a miscarriage??
In October of 2008 my husband and I experienced our first miscarriage at 9 weeks. Baby was not viable. I just found out today that Im pregnant again. A week ago I experienced some spotting off and on and im guessing its implination b/c it was around 7dpo and I had the same with the last pregnancy. Well I thought it was my period b/c Ive been having irregular cycles for the past few months now....so I have been using a regular size tampon off and on for a week thinking i'd start at any moment. Im now concerned that me wearing a tampon for the past week will increase my risk for a miscarriage or growth problems of my growing baby!?!? I am currently not spotting only cramping off and on and not using tampons. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you :0)
phew nice to hear similar stories!!! im not too concerned four days ago i had an u/s and didnt find a baby. now four days later baby with measuring heart rate i think thats an accomplishment :0)I know im a getting excited now! part of me doesnt want to be but its sooo ahrd not to be what a miracle to actually have the heart measured. They couldnt with my last pregnancy. The doc. didnt seem too concerned as she set up an appointment in two weeks to see if the heart rate has increased. Thank you very much!!!! Praying for our little miracle!!!
that is fantastic news hun!its still very early and the heart would have only JUST begun to start beating so its bound not to be up to full speed already!il keep my fingers crossed ur little miracle continues to grow and be healthy!so happy for u :)
When I got my first ultra sound, I was at six weeks. My OB didn't even seem concerned with the bpm. She said if you can see a heartbeat at that early stage, it is a real good sign. Good luck.
they said the same thing to me that the heartbeat was low she's now goin at 135...no worries!!!
had my second u/s today they finally saw a baby measuring 5 weeks 6 days. we got to see the heart flicker and was able to measure 87 bpm. They said its on the low side but my obgyn just thinks its early so im going back in two weeks for another scan. Praying it will rise!!!
thank you!!! I know its hard sometimes to be excited and its hard others to not be its a rollercoaster rright now. I have an ultrasound tomorrow morning ill be 6 weeks 3 days so im not sure how much has changed but we will see!!! hope this will be our little miracle!!
awww thats fantastic hun!im so glad they are still rising!but im sorry ur bleeding again!and no dont worry about the heart beat!it quite often doest start beating till the end of 6weeks!i understand u dont want to get ur hopes up but do allow urself a little excitment!ur happiness will add to ur babys happiness and keep him/her going strong!i pray ur little miracle continues to be healthy and continues to grow!keep me updated still!fingers crossed x
so I stated to bleed a bit again when going to the restroom so My husband and i went to the ER to try to get some answers. Thankfully i got tons thus far. My hcg levels were 750 monday 1300 wednesday and yesterday which was saturday they were 2700 the doc. siad everything looks good so far. I had an us as well and showed 5 weeks 6 days. She said that everything looked great....but i dont wanna give my hopes up, but its kinda hard. we did not pick up a fetal heartbeat but was told its too early to see one right now so im gunna go back in a week and we should deff. see one by then well hopefully!! gunna keep praying for this little miracle!!! :0)
it could just be the sudden change from relaxing and taking it easy to doing more strenuous stuff that could make things feel worse!i know recently i had a week off work due to holiday and when i went back i cramped a bit more!it did go back down though as i got used to being back at work again!take it as easy as u can at work and im sure ur count is still rising!hope it gets better soon x
im a mess of worries right now. I deff. feel more pregnant right now with every day that passes. I was home for three days doing nothing but relaxing and laying down. Today I went to work and now im have more cramps again not too painful but crampy feeling ive had low back pain for the past couple days and am still spotting tan and some grittyness to it. I am really praying this works out, but kinda nervous right now! i havent had sex in over 10 days...kinda confused can this still be implination 6 days later???
yep acne happened to me too although thankfully it wasnt red bumps just little blackheads. but they like to show up on my back and chest...still!! just be careful what kind you use, you want to avoid salycic acid at all costs! that means absolutely no acutane. every other one i would ask your doctor about because your little one is developing all of his/her important organs right now so your first trimester is the most important part. but yeah my boobs hurt off and on all the time. and by 8 weeks they had stopped hurting, and they haven't hurt since. perfectly normal...symptoms will come and go and sometimes even disappear (mine were all gone by 8 weeks). it's not a cause for alarm.
Thank you!!! Lol...yeah not so much fun. I went to an arbonne party which i bought an all natural ingredient face spot treatment so im gunna use some today and see how that works for me?!?! Its amazing that ever pregnancy can be so different in one body. This time i have headaches, acne, some nausea, some food avrasions, slight back ache, cramps, and had spotting but havent noticed much since monday (nothing hits the pantyliner). Hopefully this a good sign?!?! I spotting constantly last time up until i had ewcm discharge right before i found out my 1st had no heartbeat. Oh yeah i was also curious lol..i know i worry too much...has anyone in early pregnancy delt with sore breasts that were on and off pain???? mine are like an inbetween hardness too. Last pregnancy everything was sooo full blown my breats were hard like rocks and they hurt consitantly. this time one minute they hurt the next they are okay??? thanx again! :0)
CONGRATULATIONS!hope they continue to rise!i never get spots but i have one on my chin right nwo!i got several spots all the way through my 1st and it looks like im gonna get them thru this one as well!lol!its perfectly normal even if it dont look nice!im sure ur other half wont mind tho so try not to worry about it!if its bugging u then try some spot creams or lotions and untill then a non-irrative foundation or conceiler will make u feel more u!
so I am curious as i didnt have this with my previous pregnancy....acne!!! Yuck. I had a couple on my back which is disgusting and now my forehead and above my lip are getting the tiny little buggers as well!!! Not attractive. Has there been anyone else that has been dealing with early pregnancy acne?!?!?!

ahh yay thats so good to hear!! im sure thats a HUGE relief! now you can sit back and enjoy your pregnancy!! thats good though try to stay relaxed and take it easy..i would even go the extra mile and avoid sex since you don't have a cause for the spotting yet! but everything sounds amazing im so happy for you! :)

update....ahh feel like i can breathe again.....so my doc. called today with my blood hcg result they went up from 750 on monday to 1300 today. she said they went up beautifully and i dont have to go back in 48 to another round of blood testing. she is schedualling an u/s next week. Nervous still hoping things look good next week, but this is one good step! thank you for all ur support :0) My cramps have reduced tons (ive been laying down and tkaing it eays for three days) and spotting is minimal. Nervous to see how i feel working tomorrow. cross our fingers and say a prayer tongiht!!!
im exactly the same as u n worrieddd612!i worry about everything!thats y this site is so gd!i mean this pregnancy is so different to my 1st!plus it dont help that i found out with this one even earlier than with my 1st so i have had longer to worry!lol!gd luck today!let us know what ur count is!!!
aw well its no problem at all im glad i could help some. i was the same way when i was early on i worried about every little cramp and ache. i was afraid to bounce around too much for fear of shaking the little baby loose haha!! but everything should be just fine & yes prayer is your best bet always! try not to worry, while cramping and spotting can be warning signs they are also are both common in viable pregnancies. so i bet everything is fine!! keep us posted!!
Thank you thank you thank you. I was really worried today about tomorrow and going to have my hcg levels tested again. I practically spent the whole day laying down and napping to try to relax and not think about it. lol. Its weird ive still been spotting and cramping here and there but not consistant at this point at all. my lower back has been a little achey tho. I guess im just worried about every little thing. Not to mention im a very petite women and this may be why i feel everyhting. thank you for the numbers I guess i need to stop analyzing this pregnancy from the previous cuz each is different. i guess its hard to believe when i only have one body. i am very thankful and blessed to be able to share and get reasuring feedback. Makes these days easier for me. Especially for the husband. he doesnt like to see me so worried and upset. Im gunna pray really hard tonight for my numbers to double and pray this little one will be a healthy happy baby we can hold and kiss in october! so thank you!
