Working out

Before I found out about my pregnancy I was doin body pump at 24 hr fitness.  I am scared to squat too low or do too many n miscarriage.  Should I continue to go to class or jus do my 3 mile walk until I see my doc?

I recently started working out . Now that I find out I'm pregnant I was told to just walk on treadmill an the bicycle . I was doing a thirty min room which is a whole body work out an a AB room work out . So now I'm stuck doing easy stuff. I am actually gonna look into yoga an Pilate's. I heard both are fine. Good luck. When I talk to my obgyn about work out I can let ya know. Any information is useful.

As long as you were doing it before, you should be fine but of course, always talk to your doctor. I am a beachbody coach and had set up a challenge group that I planned to participate in and then found out I was pregnant. The plan is to still do it but listen to my body and modify if needed.

Yeah if you have been working out then keep I r up just go down a little if you weight lift and try to not run out of breath it can be bad. I was working out (weight lifting) before I found out and I was so toned but once I found out I stopped because i was scared and now i regret it because i feel so not fit :/ I haven't gained a pound I'm all my little belly but I don't feel good with myself, and can't get myself to start again :/

If you were doing it before, you should be fine. If it's a fairly new program, I would back off of the intensity. Once you go in for your appointment, talk about a workout regimen that will work for both you and your baby with your doctor.

I was told if your body is used to it before pregnancy then you are fine. Idk how intense it is. I guess I would slow it down til you see ur dr. I don't think you want to over work yourself but always check with ur dr.
