Worried and scared

My boyfriend and i recently had sex for the first time. He wore a condom but the condom broke but he didnt ejaculate at all. I was due to get my period the day we had sex but got it two days after. Could there be a possibility that any sperm could reach the egg? my periods are usually very regular with 28 days but i still have a sick feeling that i could be pregnant.. is this possible or an i getting extremely worried over nothing?

I would recommend continuing to use condoms either way sicne as Cassandra said the pill doesnt prevent STI's... even if someone passes tests first doesnt mean it will change.  There are other ways to pass STIs that dotn involve sex so be safe.

I also doubt you're pregannt, but I also really disagree with the first poster.! Please DONT go on the pill and not use condoms! Condoms are the only thing that protect you from STI's and double sutch is better than only one form of contraceetption as you are NEVER safe from pregnancy when having sex. As NO birth confrol is 100%..
So please use both!! Not just one!! That is rather silly comment to make!!!

Plus then if the condom breaks, you are on the pil therefore have a back up and wouldnt be in this pickle!! Please use BOTH!

I would say you are most likely not pregnant however I would suggest that you use a backup form of birth control as well. Condoms are a lot less effective than other forms of birth control so they are good as secondary measure they aren't the best to use as your only way of prevention. There are IUD's patches pills shots so many different things out there. But condoms break and people get pregnant. Birth control pills and IUD and the shot can fail too. Nothing is 100% effective so using two forms of birth control will increase your chances of not becoming pregnant. Condoms are something like 80% effective and only if used properly meaning even during foreplay to avoid the Pre c-m from touching you.

If you had your period, then I would say you are not pregnant. Do not worry.  Generally, your fertile time is two weeks before your period.  That doesnt mean you shouldnt use protection because anytime there is unprotected sex you are at risk for pregnancy.

But chances are if you had sex the day your period was due, he didnt ejaculate, and you have had a period then you are in the safe zone.  I wouldnt worry about it too much.

The first time I had sex, as well as many of my friends, did not get my period for 5-7 days after it was suppose to come.  I am not sure if this is normal but maybe it s the stress of the what if, or hormone changes but still.

not pregnant don't worry it will only stress you out and could make your period take longer to come

You got your period two days after you had sex with him so even though the condom broke you are not pregnant as you would not have been fertile around this time.
If you have a regular 28 day cycle then fertile phase would roughly be around the 14th day of your last period. If you look at your cervical mucus it will become clear, slippery and very stretchy around your fertile days.
If your not ready for pregnancy I would recommend going on the pill as well as using condoms. That way you are double protected from pregnancy and wouldnt have to worry about possibly being pregnant if the condom broke again. Or if you both get a health check to make sure you dont have any STI's then you can just use the pill and not worry about condoms as having sex without a condom feels much nicer :-)

However you can always do a pregnancy test if you are worried and want to put your mind at rest, but i hugely doubt you are pregnant.
