XRAY before finding out your are pregnant????

Ok so I went to the docs yesterday and she wants me to go have an XRAY tomorrow for some probs I have been having with my hip. So of course the pelvic region will be directly in the XRAY. I will be 6 DPO tomorrow. I dont think I should but she said its early enough it should be fine even if I am preggo. What do you guys think????

I had an MRI of my lower back and then back surgery 2 weeks before I found out I was pregnant. I had no choice as my lower disc ruptured and sent pieces into my sciatic nerve.  We were not ttc but 2 weeks later I got a BFP. :) I am now 23 weeks along this weekend and baby is just fine.  Not exactly where I was in my cycle but I know you will be fine.

I guess I am just worried the radiation will affect the egg. Just dont know if it's worth the risk.

I think you will be just fine. 6 dpo is still very early and like above poster said baby most likely has not even implanted yet.

To be honest at 6dpo chances are if you are to concieve the egg hasnt even implanted yet.so i would say your safe.only when you are actually pregnant shouldnt have xray.so go have it done.
